Alliston, Canada Simcoe Parts Service Inc. Full time

SPS is seeking a **Human Resources and Project Administrator** to join our team in Alliston. This position will have a high level of exposure to all areas of our operations.

**Reports To**

The Human Resources and Project Administrator will report to the Manager of Human Resources.

**Job Overview**

The position is responsible for facilitating office administration and HR administration activities, as well as project-based responsibilities that involve creating presentations, forms, and policy information. The role is best suited for an individual that is a team player along with a positive attitude and is quick to learn.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist incoming visitors in the Corporate Office and assist with direction and inquiries.
- Proactively plans Social /CARES and engagement events and programs that engage associates across the company which will enhance company culture and increase retention.
- Research and lead associate appreciation events including being a key member of the HR SPS Cares Committee and the company SPS Social Committee.
- Handle the scheduling of external training providers and training venues for HR led training initiatives.
- Administer and facilitates the Awards and Recognition program/ Service Award program / Retirement gift program.
- Administer the social media platform and develop postings, take pictures, and post highlights.
- Manages the employee engagement survey process, sets up the survey, assesses trends, gaps, and outcomes, and works with operations to create recommendations/action plans.
- Researches and facilitates human resources, engagement and recognition programs.
- Develop, compiles, research materials, and creates HR policies, forms, documents, surveys, reports, data charts, PowerPoints for presentation and memos, and training information.
- Create and distribution of organizational communications and memo and use Canva to develop marketing level formats.
- Supports organizational communications through memos, SPS CCTV, and social media platforms.
- Creates and maintains the company platforms and sites, creating Microsoft forms, and the data visualizations/charts/reports for the company.
- Create and maintain the SharePoint database folder architecture and access for the company.
- Operate database management systems to analyze data and perform data/chart visualizations for company analysis.
- Efficiently monitor the Associate Absence Call in Line including listening to recorded messages, updating timesheets and following up with Associates listed as No Call No Shows.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting on department KPIs and other performance indicators.
- Book meetings/trainings for the executive team and HR department.
- Follow, participate, and make recommendations regarding safety, environmental performance, quality, productivity, and customer feedback.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years’ experience in human resources field or related field.
- Diploma in Business Administration/ Marketing/Human Resources an asset.
- Certification in HR, SharePoint, or PowerBi an asset.
- Able to meet tight timelines, present information professionally, and works well under pressure
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact efficiently and courteously.
- Must maintain confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive data.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills / Ability to work independently and within a team.
