**Project Administrator**

**Position Summary**

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Complete quotes/tenders:

- Review of drawings, specifications, and contract terms
- Preparation of submittals and completion of forms
- Completion of quantity takeoffs
- Solicitation of pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Completion of accurate project cost estimates
- Communication with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Contract administration including:

- Review and preparation of issued contracts including required submittals
- Preparation of subcontract agreements
- Assist with material ordering
- Set up for contract and progress tracking per company processes
- Organization, preparation and tracking of contract files such as RFIs and change orders
- Project administration including:

- Supporting and maintaining communications with Construction Coordinators from project start to project closeout
- Completion of invoicing
- Customer relations, communications and client meetings
- Providing support to and collaborating with fellow team members
- Other duties relevant to the position that are assigned as required

**Position Qualifications**
- High School Diploma required
- Diploma in Landscape Architectural Technology, two-year post-secondary diploma in a related/relevant field or equivalent experience is considered an asset
- Able to understand construction drawings and specifications
- Proficient computer skills and strong working knowledge of Office Suites
- AutoCAD skills and drafting experience is highly valued
- Willingness and ability to learn and become competent in a variety of software platforms
- Landscape construction experience is considered an asset
- Accountability
- Self motivated and attentive to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong ability to work independently and on a team with mínimal direction
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence

**Salary**
- Based on experience, negotiated upon hiring

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
