**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging STEM lessons to children in various age groups
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and interests of individual students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
- Transport teaching units to and from the class locations

**Education 1 or more of the following**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (equivalent qualifications will be considered). Ministry Registration number is an asset
- Enrolled in Masters of Education or Bachelors of Education
- Completed a four semester teacher education program
- Completion or current enrollment in MACTE teacher education program

**Qualifications**:

- Current Vulnerable Sectors Check
- Standard First Aid and CPR preferred
- Must enjoy playing with Lego or similar building blocks
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- Creative and adaptable teaching approach
- Access to your own vehicle is preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.80-$25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
