**Position Overview**:
As the Amenity/Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating a wide range of recreational and amenity-based programs and activities for our community members. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and enjoyable living experience for our residents while promoting a sense of community and wellness.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Program Development:

- Create, plan, and implement a diverse range of recreational and amenity programs catering to residents of all ages and interests.
- Collaborate with residents and community members to gather feedback and suggestions for program improvement.

Event Coordination:

- Coordinate and oversee special events, workshops, and activities, ensuring they align with community needs and objectives.
- Handle all aspects of event planning, including safety, logistics, promotion, and execution.

Amenity Management:

- Maintain and manage community amenities such as fitness centers, and common areas.
- Oversee maintenance schedules, cleanliness, and safety protocols.

Community Engagement:

- Foster a sense of community by actively engaging with residents and addressing their concerns or needs.
- Establish and maintain open communication channels to ensure residents' voices are heard.

Marketing and Promotion:

- Develop marketing materials and strategies to promote amenities and recreational programs.
- Utilize digital and traditional marketing platforms to reach a wide audience.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all amenities and activities comply with Ontario condominium bylaw and standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications:

- Working toward a bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in planning and executing recreational programs or events.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability evenings and weekends, to accommodate community events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-30 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M5A 0M9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
