**EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Administrative Assistant - Temporary Full Time (Maternity Leave 12-18 months)**

The Administrative Assistant will be required to perform an array of administrative duties including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting packages and setting agendas, data collection, reports, scheduling interviews and policy edits. Additional responsibilities include taking minutes during meetings (confidential and non-confidential), scheduling appointments for departmental managers, partners, and employees, arranging travel plans, tracking timelines and training records. The Administrative Assistant is also accountable for drafting, reviewing and editing time-sensitive correspondence sent by members of the management team, aiding in scheduling, education and meetings with internal and external agencies and/or community partners as directed. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Qualified applicants should have a post-secondary diploma in an administration field or 2 years of relevant administrative work experience. Able to write and format moderately complex correspondence, including memos, letters, etc. Proficiency with the use of computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, internet usage and presentation software. Proficiency with social media such as Facebook, YouTube etc. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision. Successful applicants will have a high level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion with a professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.
