**Job Brief**:
Our Bookkeepers are in charge of keeping financial records of our professional clients. They are responsible for overseeing a company’s financial data and compliance. Bookkeepers will maintain accurate books on accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheets, payroll, daily financial entries, and bank reconciliations. They are also responsible for making sure the company’s financial reports are accurate and filed on time.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be the point of contact for our clients.
- Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Record clients’ transactions.
- Reconcile clients’ financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Be in charge of payroll and tax filing for assigned clients.
- Prepare tax returns for businesses and individuals.
- Study financial trends to determine future business needs.
**Requirements and Skills**:
- Accounting Graduate
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Advanced Excel skills
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, Sage, and other accounting softwares an asset.
