**Hybrid Work Model**
At Assent, we proudly embrace a remote-first work model, valuing the flexibility and autonomy it provides our team. We also acknowledge the intangible benefits of occasional in-person workdays. For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office one day a week. Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.
As the Director, Digital Strategy & Experience at Assent, reporting to the Senior Director, Demand and ABM, you will be responsible for leading our web experience marketing team, our website and CRO strategy aligned with the organizational goals and with a focus on driving pipeline creation.
You are comfortable collaborating with a broad array of internal customers - including executives, business strategists, product owners, design, and development teams.
You will ensure best use of website resources and opportunities for integration of various initiatives and goals based on Assent’s growth goals. Ideally, you will have worked with more than one CMS platform and understand related marketing technology including web analytic tools, search marketing, and marketing automation and the integrated digital journey.
You will plan, execute, and report on web experience programs to drive qualified conversions. Your diligent attention to detail and depth in data-driven decision-making will transform our website into a dynamic revenue engine that drives further growth.
**Key Requirements & Responsibilities**
- Lead the team responsible for our owned digital channels: Website, SEO, CRO, Content. This includes but is not limited to:
- Define skillset, recruit, train, manage, and retain an engaged and competent digital marketing team
- Ensure the digital marketing team consistently meets or exceeds Marketing performance metrics
- Translate company goals into new website strategies to present a consistent, coherent and meaningful user-centric experience.
- Own and enhance web KPIs using existing data, knowledge of the space, and insights in partnership with the rest of the marketing team. Lead regular reporting of progress and learnings to drive ongoing optimization.
- Analyze and leverage performance metrics data to effectively coach and develop the digital marketing team.
- Lead and communicate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Director, Demand & ABM, and Marketing Programs Manager to surface plans, incorporate inputs and integrate digital initiatives into the broader business strategy and to develop and sustain a world-class culture,
- Work closely with internal marketing teams to develop end-to-end campaigns and programs from ideation to execution to tracking results;
- Work closely with Business Development and Sales teams to create awareness, engagement, and follow up campaigns;
- Oversee the planning, creation and execution of digital tools to help better inform prospects and accelerate our sales funnel.
- Implement strategies to continuously optimize website performance, user experience, customer satisfaction, and conversation rates
- Lead recommendations and implementation of new and modern digital marketing practices, tools, innovation opportunities, capabilities, and tactics.
**Qualifications**
