**Primary Function**:
The HR Administration Clerk provides administrative support to the HR Team in a variety of human resource functions including but not limited to: document and data control, HR coordination and set up of meetings, updating databases, letters and mail outs, updating queues; process change request forms (PCR’s), employee relations, job description administration, and recruitment functions. This is an entry level HR administration position.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Actions recruitment requests via Recruitment Request Form from Directors or Managers, and opens job posting in the recruitment queue.
- Ensures HR related expenses are processed according to finance and HR recording procedures, including purchasing.
- Socially interacts in a positive, pleasant, and professional manner with staff and management; and ensures any issues are diffused and redirected to the HR Officer.
- Collects resumes, performs selection, posting, and prepares interview packages.
- Arranges/coordinates interviews and schedules via Microsoft Bookings, checks references.
- May coordinate orientation with training for new hires, in absence Professional Development Coordinator.
- Completes PCR’s and recommends Employment Contracts for Permanent, Temporary and Casual workers.
- Responsible for the processing, filing, documentation and destruction of confidential material as covered in the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
- Ensures employees receive copies of HR related documents and best evidence originals are maintained on file.
- Participates in the organization of social functions and assists in organizing any staff related events.
- Runs errands, picks up supplies, gifts, cards and prizes as needed.
- Researches information for quotes on supplies and services, gifts etc.
- Ensures employee’s copies of HR related documents.
- Ensures original documents are updated on the personnel file in coordination with the Executive Assistant.
- May be actively involved in Job Fairs.
- Maybe involved in intake forms for processing in HR process paperwork.
- Responsible for the processing, filing, documentation and destruction of confidential material as covered in the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
- Contributes to the ongoing quality assurance program at KRRC.
- Attends DEIC meetings, takes minutes and follows up on items as directed by Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
- Ensures DEIC showcase focuses on key areas of DEIC every 1 or 2 months and sends calendar to all staff every month.
- Ensures KRRC policies, procedures and processes are followed.
- Contributes to the ongoing initiatives of eliminating accidents and incidents in the workplace.
- Contributes to the ongoing efforts of ensuring a respectful workplace for all employees.
- Participates in continuous improvement.

**Education/Experience**:Diploma in business administration with experience in Human Resources; and/or a Diploma in Human Resources from a recognizable educational institution. Experience as an HR administrative assistant with administrative diploma will also be considered.

**Hours of Work**: This position works Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, however the incumbent must be flexible based on operational needs.

**Salary**:Commensurate with experience
