Markham, Canada Whitehall Apartments Corp. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Verification and coding of all vendor invoices and collating with P/O’s
- Process cheque requisitions
- Process Utility Bills
- Respond to vendor queries in a timely manner
- Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained prior to recording and payment of invoices
- Preparing bi-weekly cheque packages, match to backup and prepare cheques for signing
- Maintaining master vendor accounts
- Assist in month end closing to ensure all invoices are entered
- Assist our full time accounts payable administrator
- AP & AR Filing
- Assist the Property Managers as needed
- Additional duties as assigned

To succeed in this role you have:

- Understanding of general accounting principles
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and is adept at setting priorities and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- High level of integrity and excellent work ethic
- 1-2 years experience in property/accounts payable administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday - 9am - 5pm

**Job Types**: Part-Time

**Salary**: $35,000 per year
