**Job description**

At the start, the Demand Planning Manager will have for key goal stabilize the demand management process and to support the Director Strategic Planning in the implementation of the S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) process within the organization, in collaborations with finance, sales and marketing.

The Demand Planning Manager plays a strategic role within the S&OP process. He leads the implementation and maintenance of a formalized demand management process in collaboration with the Strategic planners, the sales team and the marketing team. The Demand Planning Manager is responsible to deliver the demand plan and to lead the SIOP.

Works in collaboration with the master planning, sales, marketing, finance and product managers.

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead the demand management and forecasting process
- Work closely with master planning, sales and product management to develop demand plans and assumptions/validations (including new product/market)
- Document and challenge forecast assumptions and reach for consensus on the demand plan
- Manages the forecast change management process to ensure alignment of all functions and ensure is properly update in the system
- Work with master planning to analyze trends/cycles, validate forecast, understand the source of demand
- Lead S&OP meeting and process
- Develop, maintain and track demand management KPI
- Works with the Strategic Planners to develop realistic supply plan that will support demand including customer services objectives, on time delivery, inventory and lead time targets
- Develop, analyze and identify opportunities for process improvement and methods
- Assess the ability to meet the expected demand by reviewing available material, actual pipeline, desired stock level, capacity, equipment, etc
- Match supply and demand plans with financial consideration, risk evaluation, impacts, and constraints and establish the list of the required actions
- Finalize, communicate and measure the plan: Implementation of actions.

Monitoring results by having proper key indicators in place to adjust if required

(On time delivery, plan achievement, production efficiency, forecast accuracy by family/options, inventory level, shortages, bias, etc.)
- Any other duties that may fall within this job

**Professional qualifications and competencies**

**Minimum education level**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/operations management

**Minimum experience**
- 7-10 years in demand management or any relevant professional experience

**Required skills**
- Bilingual (French/English), written and spoken
- Autonomous and proven analytical skills
- Aptitude for presenting information
- Ability to exercise multifunctional leadership
- Strong communication and team-building skills and the ability to influence others
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with SAP and BW
- Expertise in MS Office (Excel)
