Quality Assurance Manager

**Take your ambitions to the next level**:
- Oversee the design and development of the company’s quality management systems and their successful implementation and maintenance;
- Report to top management on the performance of the quality management systems and any need for improvement;
- Provide, or delegate the provision of, training to staff on the company’s quality management systems and quality best practices;
- Review:
- nonconformity with senior management;
- and approve conclusions from audits and assessments.
- Work with senior management towards continuous improvement of the quality program;
- Ensure:
- that independent assessments of the quality program are conducted;
- that project audits are performed to confirm that work meets the requirements of the management system;
- corrective actions are taken where deficiencies are identified by audits.
- Serve as, or appoint a delegate to serve as, an organizational quality representative to oversee project quality assurance;
- Stop delivery or installation of a product or service if a serious quality issue has been identified until a disposition has been obtained;
- Implement, review, or approve changes to the quality assurance program document sets.

Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher. A Bachelor of Science is preferred over a Bachelor of Arts;
- Related disciplines include Engineering, Science, Computer Science or Math.
- Minimum of five years of related experience;
- Working knowledge of the following nuclear CSA standards:
- Q396.1.1-89, N286.7-16, N286-12, N299.1-16, and nuclear software engineering categories 2 and 3.
- Understanding of and experience with the ISO 9001:2015 standard and maintaining ISO 9001 compliant quality management systems (QMSs);
- Technical proficiency:
- Ability to use computers and generate reports.
- Ability to analyze data and create and review processes;
- Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics;
- Desire to help others achieve success;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good attention to detail;
- Formal association accreditation (asset).
