**About the position**
Trew Knowledge is looking for a driven individual to join our team as a **Manager, Quality Assurance** to lead and manage the Quality Assurance function, who will be dedicated to ensure all our products and solutions meet the highest quality standard and client expectations. This role is a key player in the achievement of the business strategy by driving departmental goals to successful completion and effectively leading others towards the vision.
**What you will do**
- Develop and implement the quality assurance methods and framework in alignment with best practice and industry standards.
- Work in close collaboration with other teams to ensure any issues or defects are corrected in a timely manner to deliver consistent quality products in alignment with client needs.
- Acts as the resident expert on all phases of the testing cycle, from design, preparation and execution of all testing activities in order to support implementation of new and/or changed solutions.
- Develop and deliver testing strategies and plans for all Trew Knowledge projects and work assignments to support pre-production installations and effective implementation of digital solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand configuration of new solutions and/or changes to existing systems to ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Identify and define appropriate tests, provide guidance in the writing and executing of test scripts, analyse and document testing results and solutions for any identified issues.
- Define and develop the quality standards and metrics and ensure testing deliverables and software quality meet the standards.
- Monitor quality metrics and lead improvement initiatives to enhance business performance and software solutions.
- Work in close partnership with the senior management team and other team members to support the implementation of new or changed business solutions and meet project timelines.
- Develop capability within Quality Assurance by providing guidance and leadership to Quality Assurance Analysts and continually bringing new knowledge and expertise to the function.
- Create yearly departmental goals in alignment with the business strategy; establish individual performance goals for purposes of performance management and evaluation.
- Provide leadership to direct reports, set appropriate context, including timelines and tasks to be achieved, manage and evaluate individual performance and perform other people management activities as defined.
**Who you are**
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in information systems, with three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Quality Control. Digital Marketing Agency experience is a definite asset.
- Twho (2) to Three (3) years of experience in a role with direct reports and/or managing others within a project team environment.
- Strong knowledge of software quality control testing strategies and methods and an ability to drive performance improvement through quality control standards and metrics.
- Strong skills at developing and delivering impactful presentations, particularly as it relates to the interpretation and reporting of testing results.
- Self-motivation with a strong sense of urgency and a drive and energy to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
