Part Time Receptionist/administrator

SUGARMOON is looking for an outgoing, experienced guest services professional to join our Reception Team. This position requires the ability to provide high level support by directing the flow of the salon to ensure operations are running smoothly throughout the day. This includes scheduling appointments across multiple locations, ensuring the salon and reception area is stocked and well organized, that appointments are running on schedule, guests are greeted, promotions and events are communicated and all staff are supported. Applicants must be available to work days, evenings and weekends. Personality and attitude are key to this position.
**SUGARMOON RECEPTIONISTS/ADMINISTRATOR**
Our Receptionists hold a key position in determining the success of SUGARMOON. The Receptionist is often the first and last point of contact for clients and creating an impression of warmth, professionalism and efficiency is essential. The Receptionist will greet all clients in a friendly manner as well as provide guidance and assistance with retail products. The Receptionist is expected to take pride in his/her own appearance and well being and reflect a positive and polished image.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Open and close the salon at the appropriate time
- Provide guidance to new and existing clients on procedures and salon etiquette
- Keep reception area clean and tidy for clients as they wait
- Introduce new beauty products to clients and educate them on their uses and benefits
- Update clients on current promotions and discounts
- Process payments; ensure the cash register is balanced
**QUALIFICATIONS** **Secondary School Diploma**
- 1-2 years Customer Service experience in a similar environment, salon experience preferred
- Excellent planning, time management, prioritization and organizational skills and multi task
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; excellent phone etiquette
- Must be flexible, able to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Microsoft office products and computer knowledge
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
