We are looking for a Director of Business Development who is passionate about the AEC space, has a proven track record of driving sales, and can help us expand our footprint across North America.

Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our AI platform. Your responsibilities will include:

- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to grow our client base within the AEC industry in both the U.S. and Canada.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships Managing Partners, Head of Business development and marketing in major AEC firms.
- AEC Market Expansion:Leverage your existing network and knowledge of the AEC industry to identify key opportunities and large players in the market.
- Solution Selling: Present our AI platform to prospective clients, tailoring your approach to highlight its ability to solve industry pain points and optimize non-billable tasks.
- Collaboration with Leadership:Work closely with our executive team to align business development initiatives with overall company strategy and objectives.
- Industry Insight & Networking: Stay up-to-date with AEC industry trends, challenges, and competitors. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our platform.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience in AEC Business Development: Minimum of 5 years of proven business development experience with past sales experience of technology solutions to architecture firms or engineering firms
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the architecture, engineering, and construction space is essential. Must have a strong network of contacts within the AEC industry in the U.S. and Canada.
- Proven Track Record:Demonstrated success in selling technology or software solutions to AEC firms, including managing high-value relationships with senior executives.
- Solution Sales Expertise: Ability to understand technical products and effectively communicate their value to AEC clients.
- Independence & Leadership: Self-driven with the ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with senior leadership.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to deliver compelling presentations to high-level executives.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with AI platforms, SaaS solutions, and digital transformation trends in the AEC industry.
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
