MineStar Command for Drilling Sales Support Consultant
As the MineStar Command for Drilling Sales Support Consultant, you will provide regional sales support to the global MineStar solutions sales team. You will work with regional sales reps, dealers, and their customers to grow the MineStar Command for Drilling business. Additional responsibilities of this role will be to assist in the preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations and demos to dealers and their customers. You will be accountable for achieving sales targets and will also be responsible for analyzing global market opportunities and trends to assist in development of the annual business plan, Dealer growth plans, and marketing plans. You will work together with commercial support and product teams to develop commercial offers and programs. Additionally, you may be involved in trade and customer association events as well as other activities to assist in the execution of the product strategy.
**Hiring Requirements**
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Conduct product performance studies, assess customer job sites efficiency, collecting product and customer requirements in order to create input for product improvement process and new product introduction program.
- Manage the marketing technology tools/systems and work with key stakeholders to develop a marketing technology product roadmap to drive business growth.
- Provide sales forecasts for existing and new products.
- Collect Voice of Customer and competitive intelligence for use in product development.
- Develop campaigns to further sales of Cat MineStar Command for Drilling products globally.
- Assist with dealer-led commercial opportunities.
- Assist in preparing Responses to RFPs.
- Support marketing events & customer sales visits.
- Accountable for sales targets for Cat MineStar Command for Drilling products
- Responsible for all command for drilling related New Product Introduction commercial and marketing content deliverables.
- Support cross functional business teams to drive New Product Introduction execution.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in mining.
- Experience with mining processes, especially in drilling and blasting.
- High-level Understanding of IP networks, radio communications, and onboard machine technology systems.
- Ability to work in remote mining areas.
- Excellent PC and IT skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Account management skills.
- Sales and presentation experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers to explain the product in a technical manner during sales presentations.
- Caterpillar dealer experience.
- Experience with operational technology systems.
**Additional information**:
- The preferred location for this position is Montreal.
- Domestic relocation assistance is not available.
- This position may require 30% to 50% travel.
