**Responsibilities**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic HR leader who enjoys creating a culture of collaboration and engagement and has no hesitation rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. Working with cultures from all over the world, you will handle employee management from our Toronto office for Canada, USA, Mexico, and Latin America.

Overseeing and executing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and engagement with all employees in the Americas region, you are extremely comfortable working independently alongside a Senior Leadership team. As a trusted business partner, you will lead all HR, governance and office management functions from our Americas headquarters based in Toronto. You will report to the Global Head of HR who is based in Switzerland

Your responsibilities include:

- Liaise with local insurance, legal or other firms in support of the Americas business requirements
- Maintain policies, procedures and governance processes for multiple legal entities including ensuring compliance with internal policy and standardized delivery methodology
- Maintain awareness of local policy, compensation and employment laws and ensure company policies, systems and procedures are current (i.e., HRIS system, organization charts, travel policy, etc.)
- Lead the annual MBO process including performance management coaching, salary benchmarking, salary adjustments, commissions, bonuses and any other related matters
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process including role requirements, job descriptions, search, interviewing, onboarding, retention and ongoing employee relations
- Manage Payroll accurately and on time
- Serve as primary point of contact with Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
- Liaise with the HR compliance vendor in Canada to ensure annual regulatory course compliance
- Liaise with group benefit providers in Canada and the US for medical, 401K, RRSP, etc.
- Liaise with IT Support and ensure employees and freelancers have proper technology functionality
- Collaborate with Global HR team to share best practices are ensure processes and policies are maintained consistently
- Collaborate with Global HR team to develop, implement and analyze global initiatives
- Create a culture of engagement with global employees through a variety of social and community events
- Nurture a familial culture that values its team members and recognizes the importance of each person’s contributions regardless of role
- Lead Social Committee and take ownership of all recognition programs
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned to support Axxiome’s goals and objectives

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of senior HR experience
- Experience working in culturally rich and diverse organizations (US, Mexico or LATAM preferred)
- Highly organized and exceptional time management skills
- Self-driven individual who is comfortable managing high pressure situations and multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to listen, collaborate, and build professional, inclusive relationships with varying audiences (staff, clients, colleagues - local and remote)
- Concise and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable independently and collaboratively solving problems, making decisions, and supporting change
