**Position Title: Continuous Improvement Specialist**

**Reports To**: Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement

**Terms of Employment**: Permanent, Full Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Process Analysis and Improvement**:

- Identify and analyze manufacturing and operational processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall plant effectiveness.
- **Cost Reduction**:

- Evaluate current processes and workflows to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Propose and execute solutions to minimize waste and operational expenses.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:

- Monitor and assess customer feedback to understand satisfaction levels and areas needing improvement.
- Implement process changes that enhance product quality and service delivery.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvement initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement and other stakeholders.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies that can benefit the organization.
- Facilitate Kaizen events such as 5S, Cycle Time reduction, Value Stream Mapping, etc..
- Conducting company -wide Annual Lean Assessment and providing recommendations for improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proven experience in Lean process improvement, quality management, or operational excellence.
- Lean Greenbelt certification will be an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

**Compensation**:

Pay: $46,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
