We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care and services we deliver to our patients.

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. We also deliver some province-wide health services and support centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Job Summary

The Senior Quality Improvement Specialist will work closely with stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and implement quality improvement processes and initiatives aligned with our strategic and operating plans, as well as provincial priorities. You will also support the alignment of our quality plans to provincial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects and initiatives that enhance the quality of care and services delivered by our organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies to address these gaps.
  • Work closely with project teams to design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of accreditation standards and processes within our organization.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of quality improvement initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A post-graduate education in a relevant field such as healthcare or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a health services environment managing quality improvement projects or other systemic change initiatives.
  • Experience implementing and managing organizational change initiatives including leading projects and/or supporting accreditation efforts.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and regular travel to various health care facilities throughout the province.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a pension plan.
