Duka Property Management has a need for an organized and highly motivated **Communications and Events Coordinator **to join our growing team.

Under the leadership of the Vice President of Administration and Human Resources, the Communications and Events Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate the communications output within the company, interact with internal and external clients to deliver the organization’s messages to the public and the media and coordinate company events to build employee morale. An integral part of this position is to produce content for both print and Web, including social media, brochures, and newsletters.
- A Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public or Media Relations, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of Google Analytics and SEO principles.
- Basic understanding of social media marketing tools and AI technology.
- Knowledge of the latest innovations and methods of digital marketing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate graphic design knowledge.
- Ability to flex communication style to work with varying levels of seniority, both within and outside of the organization.

Responsibilities of the Communications and Events Coordinator will be (including but not limited to):

- Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
- Create engaging presentations to present to the public, as needed.
- Create original, error-free, clear, and concise content for the company website, promotional materials, blog entries, and newsletters.
- Coordinate blogs on all social media platforms and various portals, increasing the company’s online presence.
- Implement interesting new ideas to increase online presence.
- Monitor the company’s Google reviews, conduct research, and ensure compelling and effective responses.
- Ensure the company’s online presence.
- Research industry trends.
- Look after company events and ensure effective team building.
- Conceptualize organize and execute ideas for employee engagement and charitable events.
- Understand requirements for each event and plan events with attention to financial and time constraints.
- Prepare education courses, materials, and information packages.
- Research innovative ideas about digital marketing and communications and stay on top of new trends.
- Create all marketing and promotional materials (both print and electronic).
- Develop marketing communications campaigns.
- Develop compelling qualification packages for new business opportunities (verbal/written business proposals)
