**Department Overview**
- The Operations team is part of the Chief Operating Office, Canadian Personal Banking, that enhances and enriches how we support our customers by delivering specialized and advisory customer and partner support. The Canadian Personal Banking Operations team is comprised of Lending, Credit Practice Management, Fulfillment, Banking Operations, Estates Service, and Production Support.
- Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs) at TD Bank Group contribute to the overall reputation of TD. As executives, AVPs help to set the ethical, organizational and performance standard for the teams they lead and exemplify how an effective performance and development culture functions day to day. An AVP is expected to guide his/her team, collaborating as appropriate with TD partners, to deliver excellent results in both the short and long term.

- We are currently looking to appoint an Associate Vice President of Operations Performance Ecosystem, reporting to the Vice President, Operations Performance & Modernization. The Operations Performance & Modernization team is comprised of central functions critical to ensuring Operations is focused on meeting our core objectives:

- Exceed customer expectations the first time, every time
- Attract, develop, and retail highly skilled Operations professionals who are customer obsessed
- Enable growth by establishing workforce that is scalable to meet customer demand
- Achieve best-in-class productivity, efficiency, and controls through a culture of continuous improvement

Specific accountabilities include:
- Set strategic direction for Workforce Management activities across Operations
- Partner with business stake holders and operations to deliver effective staffing and scheduling strategies for all lines of business while optimizing resource planning to deliver a superior client experience and maximum efficiencies
- Develop proposals and recommendations for Senior Leaders that identify and profile high impact, forward looking strategies, opportunities and action plans to maximize productivity and efficiencies
- Lead Scheduling & Intraday and Forecasting teams to ensure functions are delivered and optimized to ensure the FTE plan is achieved
- Proactively makes recommendations to senior leadership for improvement in both scheduling operations and employee experience.
- Develop and own Operations cross-skilling strategy to optimize capacity and minimize risk, as well as workforce composition strategy to ensure workforce flexibility and adaptability
- Own Operations performance scorecard deliverables & operations, in addition to the strategy of how Scorecard metrics influence the right colleague behaviors
- Responsible for the delivery of initiatives that further Scorecard operations and streamlining of performance reporting
- Partner with production units in performance-related annual planning activities
- Execute on workforce performance excellence framework to enable 'one way, same way' operating model across Operations production units
- Lead business and performance analysis that provide insights on productivity, coaching opportunities, and actions we can take to improve performance
- Implement daily operational excellence rhythms & routines, incl. performance feedback & coaching
- Development of business insights and reporting to support across Ops (PIRA team)
- Own operations onboarding and access management strategy
- Attract, develop, motivate and retain high quality talent to deliver business objectives. Create and sustain a high performing inclusive culture
- Execute talent strategies that build future leaders and are representative of the communities that we service
