Office Administrator

G Melo Excavating is looking for an Office Administrator with experience in a small office setting. The Office Administrator will be responsible for organizing the office operations and procedures, as well as providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the owners. Experience in the construction industry an asset.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Maintain and process Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable including invoicing, process payments & completing bank deposits
- Remittances
- Monthly account reconciliation
- General administrative duties including answering telephone, greeting visitors, mail, filing of accounting documents, faxing, etc
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Skills**
**Education**:
- Secondary School Diploma
- Post-Secondary Education in a related field
Experience and Skills:
- 5-7 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll
- Experience with accounting software (Simply Accounting)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
