As part of the Prevention and Screening division, the Program Initiatives and Delivery (PI&D) teams lead initiatives that enable preventive care and screening for cancer and other chronic diseases. As a senior member of the PI&D team, the Program Manager will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of large-scale, complex, cross-programmatic, provincial program implementation and/or IT-focused projects, often requiring significant change management across the health care sector.

Here is what you will be doing:
Oversee the design and execution of prioritized cancer screening initiatives (e.g., HPV testing, digital correspondence), specifically:
- Engage widely with internal and external stakeholders to solicit buy-in and scope new areas of work, including community agencies supporting underserved populations- Synthesize, as needed, evidence, best practices from key jurisdictions, and key expert opinion to inform projects- Develop program/initiative processes, pathways and resources based on clinical best practices and input from patients, providers and other service delivery partners- Ensure that the design of clinical and digital programs adhere to enterprise requirements (e.g., privacy, legal, security, communications, supply chain)Lead project team(s) to deliver on all aspects of an initiative, including planning and scoping, schedule/resource management, risk management, change management, vendor management, and monitoring and evaluation, specifically:
- Bridge the gap between strategy and execution through road-mapping, setting up processes that facilitate collaboration between key partners and the achievement of deliverables- Develop integrated project plans, ensuring accurate and appropriate inclusion of deliverables, milestones, resources, inter-project dependencies and escalations- Serve as a lead for multiple workstreams, produce work products to achieve milestones and deliverables- Manage vendor onboarding, engagement and performance, including escalations as needed- Develop briefing notes, presentations, and dashboards to report on initiative progress to senior leadership- Develop implementation, change management, evaluation and sustainability plans- Lead the spread and scale of initiatives within and across settings and clinical areas- Support the development of the annual planning process in collaboration with program partners, enterprise colleagues, vendors, and the ministry- Collaborate with portfolios across the organization to identify interdependencies and ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies and priorities- Establish and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams that foster open communication and meet project and departmental objectives- Act as a facilitator and meaningfully engage stakeholders through a variety of methods to gather input, ensure alignment, solicit buy-in, and champion initiative(s)

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- Undergraduate degree (master's degree preferred) in a related discipline, such as health administration, public health, business administration, epidemiology or recognized equivalent- 7 - 10 years related work experience leading large-scale health sector projects (e.g. health system strategy, health policy/program development and implementation, digital health)- Strong working knowledge of the full project management life cycle- Experience in managing large-scale projects from initiation to evaluation/close and associated delivery teams of various sizes and scope- Experience in leading groups in an ambiguous environment- Knowledge of the health sector/government processes and structures
