Project Manager

The HVAC Project Manager position is responsible for designing, coordinating, planning and scheduling manpower for projects and quotes, while monitoring budgets and timelines. This position works with customers, trades and other employees, and must ensure effective and communication. This position reports to the HVAC Manager.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Prepare quotes to be reviewed by Management
- Manage and follow projects from start to finish (including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change orders)
- Prepare project documentation
- Ensure work meets applicable codes and standards
- Coordinate mechanical drawings and specifications with the trades
- Ensure communication flows from project to site with employees and trades
- Track project costs and ensure communication for scheduling, to ensure the project is on budget and on time
- Coordinate and ensure communication to the HVAC Manager on projected projects and timelines
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all project partners
- Attend client and site meetings, as required
- Prepare estimates for scope changes, as required
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
- Minimum 3-5 years Project Management experience
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to coordinate with customers and trades
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task multiple projects
- Design/build project experience is considered an asset
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Valid Driver’s Licence with satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
