**Job Description**:
Reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Client Solutions and is responsible for business development activities establishing new and growing existing business accounts for Bantrel’s Canadian business. The Business Development / Strategy & Client Solutions Manager (S&CSM) will work closely with the Vice President of Strategy & Client Solutions and Mining, Nuclear and Infrastructure Operations Management to support and achieve business plan growth goals.

In this full-time permanent role, you will be a champion of diversity & inclusion.

The Business Development / Strategy & Client Solutions Manager will bring a positive, forward-thinking approach and an energetic drive to continuous improvement and results by successfully managing the following key responsibilities:

- Contribute to Bantrel’s Strategy Framework process that includes market, client and competitor analysis of Bantrel’s Mining, Nuclear and Infrastructure markets across Canada
- Continuously maintain major competitor, contractor, supplier, and industry association relationships, to gain insights into their relationships, marketing activity, customer focus, products and strategic initiatives and activities to develop regional and national competitor analyses and market trends
- Represent and promote Bantrel throughout the industry to build and sustain relationships and brand recognition
- Working collaboratively with General Managers in each geographical location (focus on Ontario, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Alberta) to develop and execute strategies/tactics for market development and penetration in support of their business plans
- Oversee proposal development and the response process
- Manage the pursuit risk process, including deep collaboration of with Bantrel legal and project management in prime contract review
- Participate in prime contract negotiation, and project handover to execution teams
- Lead the commercial strategy for pursuits
- Drive active regular cooperation and coordination with Bechtel M&M and Infrastructure Global Business Units (GBU) in pursuit of our common markets to develop the most attractive offering to customers

**Qualifications**:

- A passionate approach to business development relevant to our major industry segments of Mining, Nuclear and Infrastructure
- High-energy, hands-on leader and team player able to engage multiple internal stakeholders, enabling a team-centric approach that is supportive and encouraging
- A post-secondary degree in Engineering or Construction. Engineering in an appropriate discipline / specialty is preferred; MBA would be an asset
- 8+ years of industry experience in a combination of project execution, operations and/or business development roles within an owner, EPC, EPCM, or construction organization.
- Sound knowledge of commercial, economic and business issues relating to the respective industry in general and in local target markets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen and communicate with stakeholders at all levels including Clients, Senior Leaders, and frontline employees
