Digital Adoption and Training Specialist

Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada (GGC-GduC), a national membership-based organization, empowers every girl in Guiding to discover herself and be everything she wants to be. GGC is actively searching for a **Digital Adoption and Training Specialist.**
- *Hybrid work arrangement. Location: Toronto, Ontario _

**About this Opportunity**

The Digital Adoption and Training Specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Information Technology and will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to lead and deliver the adoption and training activities required to advance IT initiatives. This role requires a skilled individual to gain a thorough understanding of new digital systems and identify the digital knowledge gaps to develop and deliver a comprehensive adoption approach and digital training program.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Continually probe for information and assess needs to identify the underlying requirements for digital education.
- Collaborate with IT Team to lead the digital adoption change management strategy.
- Conduct change readiness assessments for stakeholder groups impacted by digital projects to develop stakeholder analysis and engagement strategy.
- Develop, prepare, and deliver effective education in multiple formats online and in-person to accompany digital projects and address digital knowledge gaps across the organization.
- Aptitude and interest to learn new digital tools and technologies with a focus on Office 365 as relevant to

GGC’s IT needs and enthusiastically promote them within the organization.
- Monitor trends and evolving best practices in the use of digital tools, with a focus on Office 365, and share expertise with the organization and provide input on project development.
- Work as an integrated member of the IT team, serving organizational priorities and needs.
- Assist in the development of the yearly project plan which includes the evaluation and monitoring of project requirements and timelines for digital adoption activities and digital projects.
- Where identified, develop mitigation strategies to address potential concerns or issues.
- Raise awareness of and guide adherence to IT policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Excel at helping people learn how to use digital tools.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing competing priorities concurrently with various stakeholders.
- Experience working in customer service.
- Demonstrated aptitude with technology and digital tools.
- Excellent communication skills combined with strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A college diploma/university degree/certificate in a related field.
- Proficiency with Office 365 suite of tools including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- The ability to thrive in an environment of change.

- Experience working/volunteering in the non-profit sector.
- Experience with databases and/or utilizing project management tools.

Salary range commences at $49,314
