The Sales Team Lead is a sales guru who thrives on leading a sales team and generating membership sales. They proudly lead a team of membership coordinators in the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department. They are well versed with their knowledge of fitness and health, customer service, marketing and promotions, and various sales tactics.

These knowledgeable Sales Leads work under the guidance of the Sales Manager and exercise discretion in assisting the management of the overall operation of the Sales department. The majority of their time is spent supervising and directing the workforce. They assist in ensuring targets are achieved. They also accurately log and track membership stats, provide tours of the facility, assist with member registration/cancellation and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

These creative creatures are innovative thinkers who are not constrained by conventional thinking or established approaches. They provide personalized and exceptional guest experience. They have a knack for making quick connections and asking the right questions. They are able to think on their feet and present prospective clients with suitable membership options while showcasing amenities and features that are tailored to their client.

They flourish in a sales environment and are zealous about promoting health and fitness within the community. As an individual and as a team they achieve business goals, maintain high closing percentages, meet and exceed sales targets and effectively promote the benefits of our services including personal training. As a Sales Team Lead a typical day might include the following:

- Consistently reviewing daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
- As an individual and as a team, creatively game planning ways to achieve sales goals
- Conducting presentations and tours of the state-of-the-art facility, presenting and offering opportunities for up-sells and add-ons
- Educating new and current team members on our services and amenities
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- Leading by example
- 2nd in line to cancel memberships in club
- Hold Membership Coordinators accountable for dress code
- Run Membership Coordinator breaks ensuring all Membership Coordinators are taking their breaks on time
- Assign and lead club walk throughs
- Support Sales Manager in distributing leads
- Assist Membership Coordinators and Customer Service Associates with questions and concerns
- Able to provide full support for Membership Coordinators and Customer Service Associates on policies and procedures
- Assist Membership Coordinators with refunds
- Help support with shift changes when Sales Manager not working
- Ensure all stats are updated daily and will follow up with any MCs who haven't
- The go-to when team members outside of department have sales/membership questions
- Any other additional duties that may be assigned to
