We are looking for a **Business Affairs Assistant** to be based out of our Vancouver office.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Business Affairs team with a robust slate of television movie productions
- Liaise with and maintain communication with production teams (coordinators, accountants, etc.)
- Register all projects for copyrights
- Prepare Business Affairs deliverables (start packs, open bank accounts, credits, collect wrap documents, maintain spreadsheets)
- Tracking and communicating regarding delivery milestones and schedules
- Keep office running smoothly, answering phones and ordering supplies
- Schedule various Human Resources initiatives and events, including booking Christmas and Summer party
- Executive Assistant responsibilities that support correspondence, appointments, and administrative tasks
- Assist IT with troubleshooting as well as coordinating onboarding and offboarding of employees

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Entry level; college or university degree in film or business administration an asset
- General knowledge and strong curiosity of the Canadian film and television industry
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Highly reliable, with the ability to self-manage, problem solve and exercise excellent judgement
- Ability to excel in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
