**What you will do**:
The Claims Administrator main responsibilities are supporting all accident and cargo claims for the company. You will be working closely with the management team, while facilitating transportation compliance requests as they are an integral part of the full cycle shipment process. Creating a well maintained, safe, legal, cost-effective system for handling claims and escalations is our vision, while investigating and evaluating active claims and initiating corrective actions. This is to be completed while leading the carrier compliance process and ensuring appropriate measures are being taken. The goal of this position is to promote business equality, accountability, and transparency by investigating external and internal grievances and systematic issues while maintaining strong relationships with our partnered carriers and team members.

**You will be**:

- Working with our partnered insurance companies on claims.
- Following up with stakeholders with required information on processing the claim.
- Ensures all claims are handled in a timely manner.
- Writing monthly report on statuses of claims.
- Analyzing carrier performance and coordinating predictive and preventive measures.
- Overseeing the carrier compliance team and ensuring appropriate insurance coverage based on equipment requirements and commodity.
- Ensuring carriers meet our standard requirements for approval and remain eligible based on performance and our requirements.
- Training and educating the team on risk minimization and loss prevention.
- Quoting and reviewing additional insurance requests and ensuring all relevant information. needed to provide an accurate quote is given.
- Building on the existing infrastructure for the carrier compliance department.

**What you have**:

- 3 years experience in the Transportation/Logistics Field.
- Post secondary schooling in relevant field or relatable industry experience.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and CRM’s.
- The willingness to learn in a 3PL environment.
- An analytical mindset with a firm understanding of current and future market trends.
- A strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
- The ability to connect and build relationships with people.
- Team player with a positive go-getter attitude.
