Reporting and Compliance Specialist

**Job Summary**
**What is the opportunity?**
The Reporting and Compliance Specialist - Disaster Recovery is an integral member of the T&O Disaster Readiness team, working to align CNB and RBC disaster recovery reporting. The incumbent will work as a City National Bank employee, integrating with RBC over the next 2 years. Meanwhile, regular reports must be prepared for senior management and risk management teams. We are looking for a self-starter who can learn and question, engage, and contribute to improving processes and help us evolve.
**What will you do?**
- Produce weekly and quarterly disaster recovery compliance reports
- Collaborate between CNB and RBC DR teams to ensure alignment in report preparation
- Monitor and identify gaps and inconsistencies so that they can be remediated
- Guide alignment in reporting activities by identifying and recommending best practices
- Learn how to upload data from Excel to ServiceNow as a workaround pending automation
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must Have**:
- Min 2 years experience working in the financial industry or another heavily regulated industry
- Min 1 year experience independently producing clear, accurate, detailed reports
- Expert experience using Microsoft Excel
- Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
**Nice to Have**:
- Experience in Disaster Recovery concepts and principles
- Experience using Tableau
- Experience using ServiceNow
