Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Compliance Specialist to join our IT Asset Management Data Governance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets while ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

This role involves establishing effective business unit compliance programs to prevent or identify illegal, unethical, or improper ITAM practices. The Lead Compliance Specialist will apply extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Developing, initiating, and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the ITAM and its related activities.

- Monitoring compliance of ITAM and providing guidance for the management team on matters relating to compliance.

- Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

- Responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in the financial sector and/or compliance, with regulatory reporting experience and operations experience.

- Audits Compliance, Detail-Oriented, Critical Thinking, Data Gathering Analysis, Decision Making, Industry Knowledge, Interpersonal Relationship Management, Risk Management, Strategic Thinking.

- ITIL v4 Foundations Certified, Lean Six Sigma Belt, and Project Management Tools: Jira, Confluence are nice to have.
