Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

**Job Description**:
As a Financial Reporting Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely month-end financial reporting for our organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and providing insights into the company's financial performance. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Month-End Schedules: Develop and maintain month-end closing schedules to ensure all financial activities are completed on time and in accordance with established deadlines.
- Month-End Accruals: Prepare and review month-end accruals to accurately reflect expenses and revenues for the period, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Month-End Journal Entries: Record and review month-end journal entries to properly reflect transactions and adjustments in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Month-End Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts at month-end to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of financial statements.
- Month-End Consolidation of 20 Entities: Coordinate and oversee the consolidation process for financial statements across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis and variance explanations to support management decision-making and provide insights into financial performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in month-end close procedures, streamline processes, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, and Operations to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies during the month-end close process.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end close processes, and consolidation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
