**The Opportunity**:
We’re looking for a Manager, Corporate Sustainability to join our Marketing, Communications and Digital Wealth team.

Reporting to the VP, Communications and Corporate Sustainability, the Manager, Corporate Sustainability will support the development, implementation, and evolution of Aviso Wealth’s Sustainability Strategy. The Manager, Corporate Sustainability has a critical role to play in helping Aviso Wealth realize its sustainability-related ambitions. A relatively new company, Aviso is in the midst of developing its inaugural sustainability strategy and requires strong leadership to both shape this initial response and guide future sustainability-related initiatives aligned with the organization’s broader business strategy. Developing a strong corporate sustainability strategy and platform is a core strategic objective for Aviso, with strong support from both the Board and executive leadership. The Manager, Corporate Sustainability, will have leading role in shaping Aviso’s sustainability journey.

**What your day looks like**:

- Supporting the VP, Communications and Corporate Sustainability in developing Aviso’s sustainability strategy
- Developing targets and action plans around key sustainability-related areas prioritized in the strategy - e.g., environmental policy, human capital strategy, product governance
- Working with leads in Aviso’s businesses and shared services areas to develop plans to address identified ESG gaps
- Representing the Corporate Sustainability function on Aviso’s employee-led committees and on the ESG sub-committee
- Creating quarterly progress reports for Aviso’s Executive Committee and the Governance Committee of the Board
- Working with the Marketing team to develop Aviso’s Annual Sustainability Report

**Requirements**:
**Your experience and skills**:

- Degree in Sustainability, or Business, Finance or Policy Development with a Sustainability focus
- Minimum of five years professional experience in a sustainability-focused role at a reputable organization - experience in a wealth management or financial services organization a plus
- Deep understanding of the ESG and sustainable finance landscape
- Strong familiarity with key ESG concepts and frameworks
- Ability to effectively communicate sustainability needs and concepts
- Ability to diplomatically push the sustainability agenda forward in an organization that has only recently sought to integrate sustainability concepts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong data management skills and specific ability to interpret ESG data
- Strong technical understanding of environmental/climate policies, target setting and measurement
- Experience developing a sustainability-focused human capital strategy within an organization
- The ability to work independently on multiple sustainability initiatives simultaneously
- High degree of professionalism - comfort working directly with senior leaders a must
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
