Corporate Communications Manager - ESG Disclosures

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager - ESG Disclosures.

Corporate Communications Manager - ESG Disclosures – Job Description

  • Disclosures - Through industry benchmarking, trend and reporting framework analysis, research, communications, and materiality assessments influence the adoption of trends in ESG disclosure (such as the annual Sustainability Report and Annual Report), award / survey submissions (I.e., S&P Dow Jones Sustainability Index questionnaire) and drive progress on ESG ratings and perceptions

  • Communications - Support the development and implementation of an external and employee communications strategy as it relates to ESG and strategic focus areas, elevating stakeholder perception and brand reputation

  • Support internal engagement with ESG by assisting in the preparation of internal presentations and memos for senior management, Executives and the Board of Directors. Support the integration of relevant ESG disclosures on corporate website in alignment with ESG purpose and strategy and reporting frameworks and standards while collaborating with the Marketing, Communications and ESG teams on client-centric ESG-related content, leveraging innovative and integrated ways to deliver ESG messaging to scale narrative and improve reach to stakeholders

  • Relationship management - strong working relationships with internal and external partners to influence the development of effective communication materials and vehicles that meet the regulatory requirements and voluntary commitments, including share examples of best practice in disclosure and identify areas of opportunity for strengthening internal practices and programs while maintaining a network of peers to keep informed of best practices and latest trends, news, etc.

Corporate Communications Manager - ESG Disclosures – Mandatory Skills

  • 4+ years of experience with ESG or CSR Disclosure

  • Strong understanding of the ESG environment - standards and frameworks in place as well as 3rd party surveys (I.e., S&P Dow Jones Sustainability Index questionnaire)

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Ability to put together compelling presentations

Corporate Communications Manager - ESG Disclosures - Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with webpage design

  • Marketing communications experience

  • FI experience
