**Technical Sales Manager**

We are currently seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Manager to join our team and further enhance our market presence.

**What will you be doing?**
- We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the market for MMIST products & services, driving business growth with both new and existing customers. You will own and manage the marketing and sales pipeline for MMIST products & services, from engaging with new prospective leads, securing customers and managing existing customer relationships.
- Identifying, targeting, and engaging with new prospective customers and leads.
- Utilize various marketing and sales strategies to generate new opportunities and expand our customer base.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors to identify potential leads.
- Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline by proactively seeking out potential opportunities including monitoring various government and military procurement channels.
- Manage end to end the RFP process working with the executive team to make informed decisions on which to bid etc.
- Negotiate terms, develop list pricing, and agreements to secure new contracts and customers.
- Develop a deep understanding of MMIST's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Organize and participate in trade shows and technical symposiums, conducting demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of MMIST solutions.
- Account management, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Collaborate with our support and technical teams to provide excellent service to customers, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor, manage and report on AS9100 Business Development Process performance and KPIs;
- Market research and strategy: development of sales and marketing strategies to maintain MMIST's competitive edge.
- Provide market feedback to internal teams to influence product development and innovation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance & revenue forecasts etc
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and strategic adjustments.

**What do we need from you?**
- Strong experience of sales, business development and marketing ideally within the aerospace, defense and/or government sectors
- Experience with CRMs and marketing, business tools
- Ability to communicate with and present ideas and concepts to executive leadership, senior leadership and technical teams
- Experience with ISO 9001:2000 and/or AS9100, would be a an asset
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
