The IT Desktop Support Analyst role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company’s end user device services related to the operation of computer hardware, telephony and software. They will provide technical expertise to ensure the end user device environment is effectively supported, tracked and maintained. They will monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure, identify opportunities for improving efficiency and develop the related processes and procedures. In addition they will have excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills along with patience, a positive customer friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team environment
- Qualifications Required and Preferred- College certification or diploma in computer related courses from an accredited College.- Microsoft Certified IT Professional or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator preferred.
- ITIL certification preferred.

Create and implement methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and systems inconsistencies to improve the end user device services team function- Use ticketing system to respond, document and resolve client issues in accordance with Service Levels.
- Identify potential problem areas, analyze solutions, propose resolution, develop documentation and implement solution.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and client telecommunications equipment ie fax, using remote support processes where applicable
- Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization for physical and virtual devices.
- Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
- Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware and software needs.
- Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, installed software, software licensing and procedures for upgrades.
- Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
- Responsible to ensure monthly hardware and software patching is configured and implemented.
- Build and maintain.MSI packages and custom reports using SCCM.
- Maintain desktop images using MS Development Toolkit.
