Job Title: Social Media & Communications Coordinator

**Job Type**: Contract/ Full time

Hours of Work: 40h/week

Location: Remote

**Job description**: We are looking for a Social Media & Communications Coordinator to create and drive all social media content. If you are a talented, responsible, self-motivated individual, then you will be a great fit for our company. You will need to stay on top of social trends and be constantly coming up with new and creative ways to capture people’s attention. Also, you will work as videographer and photographer to create the best visual for us. While construction might not be the best-looking job, we will need you to make it interesting and entertaining

Below are general requirements for the position. Please be advised that we will want to see your portfolio. **Please let us know which social media accounts you coordinated before and how many followers you gained after you started work.**

**Job responsibilities**:
General Tasks
- Working with MGB software (not limited to)
- Drop Box
- Click Up
- MGB Social media accounts
- Working and coordinating with the team
- Be professional
- Be on time
- If responsibilities change at MGB - adapt accordingly
- Put thought and creativity into your work
- Create something that you can be proud of and that can change your life

**Scheduling and Daily task**
- Add to do's for your weekly calendar in click up Friday before the week begins
- Complete weekly checklist on Click UP

**Content creation**:

- Film content on job locations
- Edit photos and videos for social media channels using modern software
- Pitch marketing ideas on improving social media content
- Provide all content created in an organized fashion
- Submit edited content every week
- Arrive to job locations at least 15 minutes earlier than set time
- Edit content in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Film content with creativity
- High quality of the content is a must.
- Create final project videos and photos that will be up on a website
- Work in a team and follow instructions provided
- Follow modern media production standards, trends, and styles for traditional fronts and social media
- Adapt to different lighting and environmental conditions. Should be able to light indoor/outdoor environments for cinematic or other looks.
- Travel between multiple locations throughout the day
- Strong skills in sound mixing, color correction, white scaling and green screen keying a must
- The ability to perform under deadline in a calm, efficient, and professional manner
- Update and maintain the digital archive of images

**Social Media Management**
- Coming up with social media campaign and strategies
- Manage Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, Linkdn,
- Create content ideas for all platforms
- Post content daily to all social media platforms (use automation app) (calendar to be created)
- Be active (comment, like, share) on social media platforms on daily
- 100-150 likes with comments and DMs a day
- chasing and sourcing our competitors followers and architect/designer followers (list will be provided)
- Engage with our new leads ( ensure they are following us on all networks)
- Create professional and high-end content for all social media channels
- Schedule and co-ordinate calendar for all social channels 7-10 post a day on IG need to figure out the others
- Strategize and brainstorm new campaigns for growth and brand awareness
- Create SOPS and workflows for campaigns (how many posts you are doing weekly, daily, at what time you are posting, put it on calendar)
- Perform a monthly report on social media account activity
- Come up with ideas on how to improve social media channels and content
- Increase the number of followers and engagement on our post
- Create and maintain a better visual for Social Media Channels
- Coordination of stories and IGTV videos reels and posts. Not shooting at live time, so all posts need to coordinate
- Save the links and examples of all content we like
- Ensures social content aligns with MGB content strategy, brand voice and guidelines
- How you go about making money from Instagram
- Supports in social media scheduling, monitoring/listening, and reporting, and makes recommendations for cross-promotion opportunities to grow engagement;
- Stays on top of the social media landscape and trends and provides recommendations.
- Emulate accounts that are already doing what we want to be doing (examples to be provided)
