**Job Title**: Social Media Coordinator

**Location**: Toronto/Hybrid

**Job Purpose**:
The role of the Social Media Coordinator is to support the Content Manager and Content team in the management and production of content across all of Pinnacle’s social media platforms, including X, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, with the goal of acquiring new players and retaining existing ones. This role also involves managing content on Pinnacle’s Betting Resources page and tracking content performance metrics in order to improve the growth of Pinnacle’s social media platforms and website.

**Essential Job Functions / Main Duties**
- Manage and post content on Pinnacle’s social media accounts, focusing on global sports (soccer, tennis, MMA, etc.) and the major North American sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL) - with the goal of acquiring new players and retaining existing ones
- Create and edit compelling short and long-form video content for Pinnacle’s social media channels and website, leveraging content from Pinnacle’s podcasts, Pinnacle’s content partnerships and fair-use social media videos (original video creation is also encouraged)
- Manage the production of the Pinnacle Podcast (planning, recording, editing, and publishing)
- Strategize and execute both organic and paid campaigns to drive specific business objectives
- Proactively identify and recommend new opportunities, trends, and technologies in social media to keep the brand ahead of the curve, such as the utilization of AI tools
- Curate user-generated content and leverage it to enhance brand authenticity and engagement
- Engage with our online community to build brand loyalty - monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across Pinnacle’s social media channels
- Create graphics, such as YouTube thumbnails and other social media assets for YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn (work with Design team when needed)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, CRM, and Localization to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels
- Track content performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies with the purpose of finding ways to constantly improve our content - provide these reports on KPIs to the Content Manager
- Support specific requests from Country Managers for localized social media assets
- Manage the production of video content on Pinnacle’s website, including podcasts and videos from external contributors

**Knowledge & Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in creating and publishing content on social media for a reputable brand, preferably within the iGaming industry
- Experienced in all aspects of social media content creation (writing engaging copy, creating graphics, video editing, building a content calendar, etc.)
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop)
- Experienced with content management on CMS platforms
- Excellent knowledge of sports betting and various casino games
- Excellent knowledge of the sports betting industry and the latest social media trend

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent editorial skills and experience with creating engaging content on all the major social media platforms (X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills to plan out social media content weeks and months in advance
- Excellent video and photo editing skills
- Ability to adapt content for specific platforms
- Basic HTML editing skills and CMS authoring
