Office & Customer Service Coordinator

We are currently looking for a talented multi-tasker. An independent, motivated self-starter who can flex with the needs of our dynamic and growing business.
The ideal incumbent would be someone who can do it all, with great general office experience, strong work ethic and will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all service-related needs and issues for Customers. You will be the resourceful ‘Go-To Person’ for our Edmonton location who has the organization skills, common sense and previous experience to independently manage a small sales office.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITES**:
- Provide quotes to customers based on their request
- Process daily customer orders and/or forecasts
- Responsible for monitoring customer forecast against open orders
- Maintain and update customer profiles and item lists
- Match BOL with Order Acknowledgement and PO and file
- Assist in managing Critical Path Projects as required.
- Negotiate with customer in difficult situations including flexibility on order quantities and timing for deliveries when necessary
- Communicate order status internally and externally as required
- Provide open order reports as requested by customers.
- Provide accurate and timely information to Shipping Department to meet customer deliveries
- Liaise with all departments; communicate internally and externally, as required, pertinent information and requirements.
- Monitor and manage quantity, quality and timeliness of customer orders
- Ensure policies regarding minimum order quantities and lead-time are met
- Request, co-ordinate, package and ship product samples as requested
- Request physical inventory counts to verify stock, request aged inventory report to manage and avoid inventory obsolescence
- Investigate reasons for short shipments to provide accurate data for reporting
- Complete special projects as required.
- Other tasks as assigned and agreed
**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- **Educational Requirements**: Post-Secondary Education in related field or equivalent real-world experience
- **Minimum Experience/Field**: Must have at least 2 to 3 years customer service experience in a fast-paced, busy environment, with solid customer relationship skills
- **Communication Skills**: A skilled communicator with strong ability to positively impact desired behaviors. Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills. French is an asset but not required.
