**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly motivated and dynamic Sales team. As a Sales & Marketing Support, you will assist our Sales and Marketing departments. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks to increase brand awareness, enhancing the communication-related documentation as required as well as collaborating with outbound sales; prospecting generating and qualifying new leads, moving them through the sales pipeline, helping to get past gatekeepers and other prospecting-related and Marketing tasks. You will also research information about our target prospects and the company, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry.

As part of the first line of communication with prospects, you have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and collaborating in setting up our Account Executives for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

You will work closely with the Sales Leads to learn more about Niricson’s product and ensure that the customer meets Niricson’s specifications. You will also be the first point of contact for Sales related inquiries and issues. An ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders is expected.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Marketing team in enhancing communication strategies, plans, and functions.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success team in writing, editing, and enhancing the communications-related documentation as required by external stakeholders to ensure a consistent, concise platform of messaging is achieved.
- Research, input data, and complete the different tasks to support our sales process.
- Work collaboratively to develop B2B proposals and presentations, including periodic delivery to prospective customers and industry partners.
- Support our Marketing team in the efforts to increase brand awareness by growing followers, engagement, and awareness online, as well as develop and prepare promotional materials.
- Researching Potential Customers in the Hydropower, Water Utility, and other Concrete Inspection Markets.
- Collaborating with internal teams to aid in the development of proposals and marketing material.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps.
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in North America and possibly South America.

**Required Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in college, university, or technical school training (Sales, Business or Marketing education preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Customer service orientation with professional and confident phone presence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to prioritize changing workloads.
- Positive and results-oriented attitude.
- Interacts effectively within all levels of the Niricson Team and external contacts.

**Nice-to-Have**
- Previous experience in Sales, Operations, Project Management, or in a Scheduling related role would be an asset.
- Ability to collaborate and work efficiently with a remote team.
- Experience and interest in the dam inspection, dam safety, or condition assessment space.
- Previous experience and interest working in Sales.
- Proficiency in using a CRM such as SalesForce and HubSpot.
- Previous experience as a sales development representative.
