**Position Description**:
We are seeking a highly skilled **Communications Coordinator** to join our team at REIX on a contracted part-time basis to begin. As a Communications Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of comprehensive communications and engagement plans to build subscriber awareness, engagement and understanding of risk management benefits provided by REIX.
**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of integrated communications strategies that align with REIX’s strategic goals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders including industry partners
- Develop and deliver impactful messaging and materials across various channels, including media releases, web content, social media and presentations
- Oversee communication projects and materials, ensuring timely delivery within budget
- Provide expert communications advice to the REIX team and senior leadership. Maintain a broad understanding of REIX priorities, as well as stakeholder perspectives, to inform effective communication strategies
- Conduct through research to understand technical topics and distill them into clear, concise, and easily understandable communication materials for our subscribers
**Requirements**:
- A degree in a communications, public relations, or related field, supplemented by a minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in a designated public relations, public affairs, or public information position OR;
- A Diploma in communications, public relations or related field, supplemented by a minimum of 4 years progressively responsible experience.
- Demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to translate complex technical information into plain language. Extensive knowledge of communications planning and delivery principles, techniques and practices
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective communications plans aligned with business goals. Experience or knowledge of related fields, such as advertising, creative services, audio and visual production, social medial and content creation
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership
- Experience in self directing work to manage projects, consultants and events. Superior issues identification and management skills along with proven client consulting skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
**Assets**:
- Demonstrated understanding of effective stakeholder engagement tactics and strategy
- Existing knowledge of real estate industry and cyber security
**Work Environment**:
- This position may be eligible for hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- public relations: 3 years (preferred)
