**Job Description**:
We are looking for an **_Assistant Vice President, Business Delivery_**

The Assistant Vice President is responsible for establishing and advancing Centres of Excellence for Business Analysis, Procedure Writing, Compliance, and Instructional Design, in order to drive consistent and effective business delivery of operational change.

This role is accountable for leading a cross-functional COE to execute on repeatable core business processes and technical transactions with a focus on efficiency, first-time quality and overall continuous business improvement.

To be successful in this role the Assistant Vice President should have exceptional leadership, communication and management skills and a belief in developing the skills and talents of others. They will have experience in identifying and navigating organizational changes and a keen interest in trends in business transformation and leadership.

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensure high quality delivery of best-in-class business solutions that meet the needs of Operations and Customer Service.
- Partner with senior business leaders to develop both short and long-range plans to ensure the continuous evolution of business delivery across Operations.
- Translate business project plans, new technology demands and business growth impacts on resource operations and delivery, ensuring people capabilities and resources align with current and future business needs.
- Work with Operations leaders/ SME counterparts to understand the customer and internal client experiences relative to target states, determine root causes of unnecessary efforts in those experiences and design solutions.

**Who you are**:

- Minimum 10 to 15 years of financial services industry experience (insurance, wealth management would be an asset)
- University degree in a related discipline
- Proven leadership skill with experience leading large teams
- Strong people skills with the ability to inspire coach, motivate, provide vision, etc.
- Deep understanding of how large enterprises work; deep understanding of how to establish and lead centres of excellence in an Operations environment
- Demonstrated strategic and tactical planning skills, with the ability to align business goals and effectively work across various disciplines
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships across Individual Customer and facilitate cooperation
- Experience in facilitating change effectively
