**The Opportunity**

GTY is on the hunt for a self-starter who is driven by curiosity to join us as a Field Marketing Coordinator. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that’s fueling the digital transformation of the public sector.

The Field Marketing Coordinator will help support our diverse portfolio of field marketing programs online and in-person at both a regional and national level across Canada and the United States. From tradeshows to user forums and webinars to roundtables, we value the opportunity to interact with prospects and customers. These initiatives are historically the highest contributor to pipeline development and serve as a great way to better understand the market. In this role, attention to detail is key but execution goes far beyond the event/activity. You will have ownership of field marketing programs and help define our approach while working cross functionally with the rest of the Marketing team and Sales. Your primary mandate is to bring our brand and message to life while driving qualified pipeline that ultimately result in bookings

**The Challenge**
- What You’ll Do:_
- **Strategy**: Assist with the execution of the overall field marketing strategy and work to build brand awareness and growth
- **Events**: Plan and execute events such as conferences, tradeshows, speaking engagements, roundtables, user groups, and much more
- **Manage vendors and association**s: Build strategic relationships with vendors and partners, aiding in the coordination and planning of syndicated content and co-planned events
- **Measure and communicate results**: Track the progress of your initiatives and communicate the results with your team
- **Project management**: Work cross functionally with stakeholders while managing multiple marketing programs and competing deadlines
- **Research**: Work with various stakeholders to identify opportunities in the region and segment you are targeting

**The Right Fit**
- What You’ll Bring:_
- 2-3+ years’ experience in B2B field marketing or demand generation, SaaS experience is a plus
- Degree or diploma in marketing, a related discipline, or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the field marketing landscape and lead generation best practices
- Experience managing and executing large and small-scale events and conferences, as well as designing custom events
- Familiar with event best practices, contingency planning, vendor scoping and contract negotiations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, managing multiple programs and deadlines
- Proficiency using CRMs (Salesforce), marketing automation tools (Pardot) and virtual event platforms
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience owning targets for MQL and pipeline contribution
- Understanding of tracking and reporting on program results, effectiveness and ROI

**Location & Travel**

This role will be remote with the occasional travel to our beautiful office in Waterloo, Ontario.
