**Research Coordinator**
**Concurrent Outpatient Medical and Psychosocial Addiction Support Service (COMPASS)**

**Position Description**

COMPASS at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, contract (until March 31, 2025) Research Coordinator to support a SUAP-funded project entitled “Virtual Integrated Collaborative Care (VICC) using the Technology Enabled Collaborative Care (TECC) platform”. The project aims to provide a stepped up model of care to clients in COMPASS who have the diagnosis of Severe Opiate Use Disorder. The incumbent will participate in a range of research, evaluation, and project planning/implementation activities. Reporting to the Research Manager associated with VICC and working closely with the Project Director, the Research Coordinator will primarily be responsible for coordinating and implementing technology driven research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of addictions services and research at COMPASS. You will be expected to liaise with the interdisciplinary team and ensure all project timelines are maintained. Additionally, the Coordinator will utilize a web-based interface to support and coach research participants with a variety of health behaviors using Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills. The position also requires experience with completing environmental scans and literature reviews as required, preparing reports, manuscripts and project updates, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. You will work collaboratively with a team of other healthcare providers and research analysts to achieve deliverables.

The position also requires the individual to execute a number of activities related to patient and study site management. You will also have administrative duties pertaining to the project, such as ensuring study records are maintained, securely stored, and backed up appropriately. You must be able to work independently and effectively in an inter-professional team environment. This position is located at the CAMH Queen Street Site. This work will be a blended role
- both onsite & remote work will be required.

**Qualifications**

**Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.**

**Please Note**:This full-time, contract position until March 31, 2025 is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.

**Salary Range**:$33.59 - $45.31 per hour
