Reporting directly to the Manager, General Adult and Health Systems Psychiatry, CAMH is seeking a full-time contract (12 months) Research Coordinator experienced in working with disadvantaged populations to work on research studying high support housing for adults with serious mental illness as well as a study of policies and strategies to integrate physical health care in specialized mental health services.

In this position, you will be required to work collaboratively with research co-investigators and community agencies on this and other projects targeting disadvantaged populations.


The Research Coordinator will be a team player who displays leadership and collaboration in terms of coordinating the activities of other team members, providing training and guidance to team members, and establishing and maintaining effective relationships with non-CAMH agencies.

The Research Coordinator must be able to work with mínimal supervision and effectively in inter-professional team environments and with youth and adults experiencing mental health, addiction challenges and social disadvantage.


The Research Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting eligible participants, screening, obtaining consent, and managing all aspects of the data collection and processing, including preparing study and data collection materials, coding, entering and checking data.

Data collection will include administration of questionnaires, conducting structured assessments, semi-structured interviews, and focus groups with service users and providers, and policy stakeholders.

Data analysis will also be required.


The Research Coordinator will prepare REB submissions and ensure that all study activities are monitored and comply with scientific, clinical, research ethics board and other regulatory requirements.

The Research Coordinator will ensure that participant records are maintained, securely stored, and backed up appropriately.

The Research Coordinator will support the Principal Investigator by performing literature reviews, preparing data for presentations and assisting with peer-reviewed publications and knowledge translation initiatives.

Other responsibilities will include monitoring timelines and data collection deliverables.

Qualifications:
