Retail District Manager, Ontario
We are looking for two District Managers in Ontario. One will be based in GTA and one will be based around GTA area.

Summary
The Retail District Manager, Ontario will be responsible for the operations of Canna Cabana Inc. ensuring that all key financial objectives are met. Other responsibilities will include the effective attraction, retention, and coaching of talented employees, providing the motivation for increased sales and customer service levels. The Retail District Manager, Ontario must possess a superior business intellect and leadership, responding quickly and effectively to marketplace dynamics by creating strategies that will ensure our continued success. The assigned region for this position may vary as the footprint of the company evolves or changes.
Job Duties
- Achieve all key financial objectives for the region and for the stores.
- Motivate and develop a winning team that will provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrates an innovative and entrepreneurial approach by responding to the unique characteristics of the market
- Implement comprehensive local marketing programs to maximize customer retention and awareness, while encouraging repeat visits
- Maintain sufficient staffing levels, both salaried and hourly
- Manage the operating budget and operate within Company guidelines
- Complete prospecting and follow-up calls to market our products/services to local businesses, community groups and associations.
- Ensure POS for retail is maintained as per public company standards.
- Perform activities including hiring, orientation and training, motivating, appraising performance, enforcing discipline, and termination in consultation with the Human Resources Department.
- Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding Customer expectations and leading by example.
- Ensure product promotion is ongoing, creative and well-presented
- Submit monthly activities, budget and business reports
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, resolving technical problems immediately
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the presentation of a clean, upscale, and well-maintained establishment
- Accurately monitor inventories, monitor security standards and systems, equipment, and the flow of merchandise
- Responsible for all financial activities including reconciliation and bank deposits on a rotational basis with the management team, cash balancing, and the accurate monitoring of cash handling procedures
- Ensure accurate completion of financial reports required by appropriate deadlines, as well as payroll processing requirements
- Communicate and monitor adherence to health and safety legislation
- Ensure all retail locations are meeting KPIs and remove any barriers to their success.
- Coaching Store management on process improvements and HR-related matters.
- Liaison with HR and Payroll for managing accurate payroll and subsequent employee relationships. Timely approval of Managers' timesheets in Dayforce as per payroll calendar.
- Ensure profitability for all Canna Cabana, and Joint Venture stores in Ontario. Implement measures of success and KPIs in all stores across Ontario.
- Travel to all Canna Cabana retail locations will be a part of the job.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Proven ability to lead a team of managers and be a great coach.

**Requirements**:
- Cannsell License and ability to get Cannabis RML from AGCO
- Minimum of 2years work experience in the retail Cannabis industry an asset
- Minimum of 8-10-year work experience in a management role in a retail environment
- Valid Drivers license and to be able to drive to all Canna Cabana locations in the region.
- Proven ability to lead a team of managers.
- Proven excellent customer service skills

- Able to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines under stress and interruptions
- Understanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines, payroll, and expenditures, strong expertise in MS Excel
