Office and Scheduling Administrator

The incumbent will be responsible for office administrative tasks and scheduling support for the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the Civic campus.
- Office administration (i.e. reception, mail/fax distribution, supplies)
- Coordinate and complete documentation related to the onboarding of new staff
- Coordinates, supports and attends meetings as required
- Organizes and coordinates events as required
- Provides backup and support to the Scheduler
- Supports the Site Chief, Managing Partner, Resident Site Coordinator and UGME Site Coordinator and staff members in maintaining a positive relationship in a team environment, within the Department, across TOH, the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine and other areas
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Highly dependable and demonstrates initiative
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
**BASIC REQUIREMENTS**:
- Applicable College diploma or a minimum of 2-year previous administrative experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft TEAMS, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proficiency in speaking, writing and comprehending English; French would be an asset
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills required to work independently
- Highly dependable and conscientious
**Salary**: $24.28-$26.03 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
