We are looking for a** Community Manager** to join our team

We are looking for an individual who can combine their interpersonal and communication skills to develop, manage and execute our client’s online social presence and strategy in order to support business objectives and build brand awareness with the online community. We are looking for someone who is able to bring their experience and understanding of the social space to help build best-in-class processes in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.

**_ What is a day in a life of a Community Manager at theturnlab?_**

As a member of our Digital/Social Media team, you will collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and other internal teams to build community and manage content and performance across social media channels for our clients. As a strong communicator, you will effortlessly foster the growth of online communities through your ability to build relationships. Through your creative problem-solving and analytical skills, you enjoy analyzing and reporting on content performance metrics, making recommendations and optimizations to improve effectiveness of our clients’ social presence. In summary, you will:

- Plan, develop, implement, and manage impactful, engaging and creative content strategies, primarily for social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.) but could include: editorial, white papers, videos, blogs, podcasts, and/or event presentations.
- Schedule/post social content across platforms which could include: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter (X), YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest.
- Develop content plans, calendars and strategies that will contribute to the execution of successful social media plans and campaigns.
- Manage and increase our engagement on social media and community platforms.
- Work with internal and client teams to develop compelling creative assets including images, web graphics, video, and animations.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure creative content is best in class, on brief and platform appropriate.
- Leverage proven ways to build community and foster engagement on clients’ social media channels, using authenticity and the appropriate voice.
- Foster growth in online communities by seeding and participating in online conversations as a component of client social media strategies; identify influencers and conduct influencer outreach (groups and individuals).
- Create client-facing reports to summarize social and content performance, trends and insights.
- Leverage a variety of data sources to create insightful and actionable recommendations for content across various platforms.

**_ What value will you bring to our team?_**

You will have a postsecondary degree in marketing, communications, social media, advertising, journalism, public relations, business and/or related fields. At least three or more (3+) years of experience managing social media platforms and communities for brands in a corporate or agency setting. At least two (2) years of experience in design, content creation, and communications. You will have proven experience with building social content calendars, content management workflows, and content performance analysis and optimizations, and an impressive understanding of social media and online content trends - you must be able to quickly identify content opportunities. Additionally, you will have:

- Familiarity with a variety of platforms and social tools including: Meltwater, Sprout Social, Meta Business Manager, and Pinterest.
- A high level of confidence in creating content performance reports using social metric data and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent editing and copywriting skills, strong writer.
- Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, etc.).
- Experience in capturing and editing video content is an asset.
