Trotter & Morton Facility Services provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair to condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings.

Trotter & Morton Facility Services is recruiting a Service Manager who will be able to evaluate and correct service problems, respond to customer inquiries, make strategic recommendations, develop and propose solutions for major repairs, and resolve technical issues. The Service Manager will oversee the development and training of field technicians to meet technical requirements, and established standards, while promoting a safe work environment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Management of technical operations
- Leading / developing a team of technicians
- Building customer relationships
- Developing project solutions and pricing for system repairs, upgrades and replacements
- Following a sales process to secure work, and oversee its successful completion
- Meet or exceed all the gross profit targets by division
- Other duties as required

- Excellent interpersonal communication with team members and clients is essential
- Strong moral character and solid work ethic
- Writing and presentation skills
- Strong business and leadership acumen

Required Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a broad knowledge of commercial / industrial gas furnaces / steam & hot water boilers, electric air conditioning units, heat-pumps, reciprocating & screw chillers, refrigeration and building control systems.
- Previous experience managing others
- Understand mechanical systems, appropriate codes and industry standards. Assure that permits are secured where applicable. Provide design input as requested.
- Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Manufacturer's factory training and certification (preferred)

**Additional Requirements**
- Some travel is required
