The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will develop, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns and collateral for the YMCA of Greater Toronto’s Employment and Community programs. The position will leverage business knowledge, marketing strategy, brand guidelines, digital and social channels and client targeting tactics to promote all programs to achieve program objectives. In addition, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of day-to-day program marketing requests, tactical marketing initiatives as part of the annual program-marketing plan, and the successful execution and delivery of tactical campaigns. The position will report directly to the Program Marketing Manager and will work closely with the Manager, Program Integrity, ensuring campaign strategies and marketing execution are aligned with program goals.

**In this role, you will**:

- Support the development of quarterly and annual marketing plans through creation of marketing campaign briefs, as well as, coordinate with media agencies and execute campaigns to support key initiatives, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Execute cross-selling and acquisition tactics to support new job seeker intakes and employer partnerships.
- Review the website pages under employment & community, process edits as and when requested
- Develop and maintain up-to-date project-trackers (work back schedules, content calendar, social calendar, etc.), and produce project wrap reports capturing marketing tactics and their effectiveness, and an annual wrap report.
- Support the launch and communication of new programs.
- Provide administrative support to facilitate invoice processing, budgeting, and report preparation.
- Demonstrate appropriate behaviours in line with our Mission, Vision and Values as reflected in our YMCA competencies; take a member focused approach to increase their understanding of programs offered across the Association. Represent the YMCA and the Association in a professional manner.
- Understand the legal responsibilities and moral imperative to report suspected child abuse to Child Protection Services.
- Understand the importance of the volunteer staff partnership and integrate the value of philanthropy and volunteerism in dealings with members, volunteers, donors and staff.
- Support the national Ted Rogers Scholarship program.
- Other duties as assigned.

**You bring**:

- College Diploma or University Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years of related experience is required
- Experience in developing and implementing quarterly and annual marketing plans, and multi-channel marketing campaigns
- In-depth knowledge of managing and monitoring social media platforms
- Experience or significant interest in: marketing, planning, advertising, copywriting, lead generation, presentations, project management, cross-organizational communication, social media, print, digital, and public relations
- Self-motivated and works well independently
- Works well under pressure, across multiple projects, with multiple deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong and creative problem-solving skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and volunteers
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in project management dashboards (e.g. Smartsheet)
