ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Procurement & Inventory Logistics Specialist is responsible for purchasing assets, parts, equipment, services, supplies, including general supplies, to support office and field operations. This role also is responsible for maintenance of inventory tracking of assets and parts owned by both Envirosearch and Envirosearch Clients. Coordination with the Accounting Team is a routine part of the role to support in financial management associated with this role. The role is focused on improving efficiency for the overall operations. Significant interaction with all departments within the company should be expected. Roles and responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with management to establish clear procurement procedures, emphasizing good accounting and inventory control practices.
- Work closely with the operations technical support team to coordinate the purchasing, receiving, and shipping of parts, supplies, tools, and equipment, supporting smooth business operations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and finance teams to procure assets for client systems, ensuring compliance with financial accounting practices.
- Work with engineering and finance teams to complete the subcontractor pre-qualification process.
- Manage Order-to-Delivery logistics, documenting each step with the correct procedures and paperwork, and communicate delays to the relevant team members.
- Lead in the processing of purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation is forwarded to accounting.
- Place orders with suppliers, expedite ETAs, and resolve issues related to parts, documentation, shipping errors, pricing, and invoicing.
- Maintain and manage stock, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure effective distribution of supplies.
- Enter, search for, edit, and extract data from accounting, inventory, and other systems as required.
- Track and manage fleet vehicles, support the development of the inventory module, and assist in developing business proposals and contract renewals.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in business, accounting and supply chain management or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience procuring equipment for Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems is an asset.
- Experience with inventory management system is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Minimum two years of experience in an office or similar environment.
- The ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to strategically develop systems that will have longevity.
- Positive, responsible, and self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- High level of skill with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, D365).
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and be able to work quickly with high accuracy.
- Confidence in asking questions and clarification on tasks assigned.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and disciplines.
- A desire to learn and taking initiative to always improve.
